Johannesstift
The Johannesstift in Berlin is a charitable institution of the Lutheran Church in Berlin-Spandau. It was founded on 25th of April 1858 by Johann Hinrich Wichern. It's aim is to support the poor, the handicapped and children. Johannesstift is located at Schönwalder Allee in Berlin. Johannesstift incorporates a conference center, a hospital, primary and middle school (grade 1 to 10), a church, a bookstore, some lttle shops and several institutions for social work: retirement home, handicapped facilities, facilities for the youth, educational center and a high school for social studies.

Accomodation and Meals
Accommodation will be in different buildings at the site. Single, double, and triple rooms are located in the Hotel Christophorus. All these rooms have private bathroom and shower. The hotel is in 3 minutes walking distance from the plenary.
Rooms for disabled persons are available. Please let us know your needs during the application. In general the site is equipped for disabled persons, but not all buildings, especially not the dorms.
Dorms are offered at IJBC site and in a school. Common showers and bathrooms are available. During IJBC, AIM and PreAIM meals will be served in the hotel. Meals are generally served in buffet style with self service.
Arrival by car and public transportation
We do recommend you to take the Ring-Highway around Berlin until you are on highway A111. Please take exit Hennigsdorf. Drive into Henningsdorf and turn left into Spandauer Landstraße which will later become Niederneuendorfer Allee. Turn right into Cautiusstraße and again right until Schönwalder Allee. After 500m turn right to Johannesstift.
Trains bring you to the Spandau station. Leave the station and take Bus M45 from Spandau Town Hall (just across the station). The final destination of the bus is Johannesstift. A taxi from the train station will be approx. 12 Euros.
