  • We have added a section Berlin - Germany to our website. Here you will find some information about sightseeing, you can learn some German, and you have links to book accommodation for your additional days before or after AIM. (5.3.2010)
  • AIM Paper Copies: In order to preserve trees and avoid unnecessary printing, and in line with the developments over the last couple of AIMs, we want to make sure that we do not print more papers than needed. We will presume that you will have access to all AIM Papers/Documents electronically (through CISV Resources and e-mail) during the AIM. (1.3.2010)
     

February 2010

  • We have started sending out acceptances for 320 applicants. As far as we know, nobody is left out, but if you decide just now to visit the AIM your chances of being accepted are quite limited.   • CISV Germany has a new National Secretary, Swantje. She will help you with Visa requests. The e-mail secretary@de.cisv.org address for the National Secretary stays the same.

January 2010

  • We still receive about 15 applications per day. Please not that all applications receved after 15.1.2010 will be added to the waiting list, don't expect an immediate confirmation on 15.2.1010 (17.1.2010)
  • Some of you wonder when we will activate your CISV-Friends participation claim. With the confirmation deadline, 15.2.2010) we will activate the claim for those attending AIM. (17.1.2010)
  • The TTT workshop will take place off site after AIM (10.8.-15.8.). Applications will go through the training department. More info is given on our workshop page. (17.1.2010)
  • Due to your room requests we have slightly more applications than beds available. The registration team is working on creative solutions. Please note we would not be able to fulfill all room mate requests. (17.1.2010)
  • We have received about 300 applications for AIM, taking off double entries and IJBC-only participants we receied 270 applications for AIM2010. Until the confirmation deadline, 15.2.2010, we have taken off the application for other than single rooms. (16.1.2010) 
  • Don't worry about money transfer times. We have given us one month between deposit transfer deadline, 15.1.2010 - 15.2.2010, until we confirm your application. Please contact our treasurer if you have doubts. (13.1.2010)

  • Q: I was told that during this year's AIM, there will be a special workshop for NA secreteries, and was hoping that you have further informatoin regarding dates/costs, as I couldn't find it in the registration kit.
    A: We guess the one you refer to is the ODC Development Workshop. Iris from ODC is contact person for this Workshop (irisd@netvision.net.il). She is going to send the workshop title and content soon, which we are going to publish immediately on the AIM2010 Webpage. (22.12.2009)

  • Low-cost carrier Icelandexpress offers flights from New York to Berlin Schönefeld SFX, every Monday between June and August 2010 starting from 318€ (12.12.2009).
